Forward Deployed GTM Engineer

Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, with three days per week in a hub office

Compensation: $130,000–$170,000 annual on-target earnings, split 70% base and 30% variable; equity offered

What you will do

• Work directly with fast-growing customers to understand their business, teams, data, systems, and technical GTM needs.
• Architect CRM systems with hirify.global at the core, including data models, objects, relationships, workflows, integrations, enrichment, automation, and AI.
• Lead time-boxed build projects and ship working solutions such as sequences, automations, integrations, and SDK applications.
• Build and debug custom API integrations and automations using JavaScript, AI coding tools, n8n, Zapier, Make, and related GTM technologies.
• Connect hirify.global with data warehouses, CDPs, enrichment providers, sales tools, marketing systems, and customer success platforms.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success Managers to solve customer problems and develop repeatable tooling.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building GTM systems as a GTM Engineer, RevOps Engineer, developer, technical consultant, or in a similar hands-on technical role.
• Deep hands-on experience with GTM tooling and a strong understanding of Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success operations.
• Strong understanding of CRM architecture and data modeling, including objects, relationships, fields, workflows, and automation.
• Technical fluency with APIs, webhooks, JSON, JavaScript, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Experience with modern GTM and data tools such as Segment, RudderStack, Clay, Hightouch, Polytomic, n8n, Zapier, or Make.
• Ability to work directly with customers, handle ambiguous business problems, and move quickly across different customers and technology stacks.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Curiosity about how AI is changing GTM systems and a habit of experimenting with new tools and approaches.
