Optical Manufacturing Technician

What you will do

• Fabricate advanced optical components using CNC milling, grinding, and polishing equipment.
• Operate deposition chambers to apply coatings to optical parts.
• Perform precise alignment and assembly of glass components.
• Conduct in-process metrology and final quality inspections using advanced measuring tools.
• Maintain 5S standards in the processing area and ensure equipment safety.
• Collaborate with engineering and management teams to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under Export Administration Regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Ability to work a compressed 12-hour night shift schedule (Wednesday–Saturday rotation).
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment wearing full protective gear.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work around chemicals, lasers, and high-noise environments.
