Manufacturing Process Technician - Nights (Biotech)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States; onsite role

Salary: $54,411.05–$73,614.95 per year, plus a 15% shift differential

What you will do

• Perform simple to moderately complex bulk manufacturing processes according to standard operating procedures and batch records.
• Clean equipment and parts using manual and automated methods, and set up or break down single-use materials.
• Weigh and dispense raw materials, prepare and transfer solutions, and handle manufacturing materials.
• Operate and monitor clean systems, autoclaves, processing equipment, and powered industrial vehicles.
• Collect, process, store, and deliver samples; reconcile products and components.
• Complete process documentation and calculations while adhering to current cGMP requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of manufacturing, operations, or military experience, or an associate degree.
• Ability to follow written procedures, recognize and report malfunctions, and accurately complete electronic batch records.
• Ability to perform measurements and calculations, understand the metric system, and maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform physical manufacturing tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a shift team.
• Ability to work onsite in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience in a GMP or other regulated environment.
• Knowledge of GMP principles or drug substance manufacturing experience.
• Experience assembling, disassembling, and operating simple to moderately complex equipment.
• Demonstrated coachability, attention to detail, and measurable improvement after feedback.
