Associate Manufacturing Technician (Weekend Night Shift - Onsite) (Medical Device Manufacturing): Operating and maintaining automated equipment used to produce medical devices with an accent on mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and product quality. Focus on resolving machine faults, supporting process validations, and maintaining cleanroom manufacturing standards.

Location: US - Massachusetts; onsite plant work required

Annual base salary: $18.16–$27.24. The role may also include incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other drug-delivery technologies for people with diabetes and related conditions.

What you will do

  • Operate and maintain highly automated manufacturing equipment, including heat staking, laser welding, robotic automation, PCB handling, metal forming, medical packaging, and component assembly systems.
  • Clear machine faults and stoppages, maintain raw material feeds, use HMIs to identify process-control changes, and troubleshoot minor mechanical and safety issues.
  • Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance while generating corrective or preventative work orders.
  • Support material inventory, quality management, new product design transfer, process development, equipment validation, and process validation activities.
  • Follow specifications, work orders, standard operating procedures, material-handling and packaging requirements, and GMP standards.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, team leads, and cross-functional groups to investigate process issues and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be proficient in English to read documentation, communicate, and write.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial machines, tools, production processes, measurement instruments, and basic arithmetic.
  • Ability to recognize problems, apply root-cause analysis concepts, and troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand for at least 75% of each shift, walk for at least 50%, push and pull, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Must work onsite in the US - Massachusetts and be available for the weekend night shift.

  • Previous experience in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience debugging and optimizing assembly processes.
  • Manufacturing experience in a regulated industry.
  • Experience in a startup production environment.
