Manufacturing Technician, Every Other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. 6pm-630am

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Schedule: every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

Salary: $24–$26 per hour plus shift differential, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, shut down, and maintain automated equipment used to produce UPE Membrane products.
• Analyze process and test data to maintain product quality, yield, safety, and efficiency.
• Use HMIs, SCADA, and statistical process control to identify and correct process shifts.
• Prepare raw materials, complete membrane batches, and support inventory, process transactions, and quality-management activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, and operating inefficiencies while implementing corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support product development, equipment and process validations, SOP updates, continuous improvement, and operator training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; additional college or technical coursework is beneficial.
• Two years of progressive experience and previous manufacturing experience.
• Proficient English is required for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes, understand root-cause analysis, and apply basic arithmetic, algebra, or geometry.
• Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the facility, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use hands and arms for material and equipment handling.

• Extrusion experience.
