General Manager (Cannabis Retail)

Location: Prairieville, Louisiana, United States; full-time, onsite dispensary leadership role.

What you will do

• Lead daily dispensary operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, facility upkeep, scheduling, payroll, and operational procedures.
• Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and develop staff while building an accountable and inclusive store culture.
• Drive sales performance, revenue, customer service, promotions, loyalty initiatives, and store KPIs.
• Manage inventory intake, reconciliation, stocking, product aging, online menus, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and internal processes, including inventory controls and communication with compliance partners.
• Coordinate with HR, Operations, IT, Facilities, marketing, systems, and regional leadership.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis-related industries.
• 2–5 years of customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with people management, culture building, cash management, inventory management, communication, critical thinking, and Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain flexibility in working hours.
• Experience in the cannabis industry, Dutchie POS, and METRC Seed-to-Sale is preferred.
