General Manager - Optical

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, bookkeeping, supplies, and policy compliance.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop associates while recruiting and retaining store talent.
• Monitor store performance and drive excellent customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to support high-quality patient care.
• Manage merchandising, marketing, promotions, budgets, audits, and financial goals.
• Maintain quality, safety, facility, reporting, and corporate standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, communicate, organize, and solve problems.
• Strong understanding of store operations, business performance, customer service, and sales.
• Optical industry knowledge is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Optical licensing or specific credentials may be required depending on state law.
