General Manager (Optical)

What you will do

• Manage daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, coach, train, recruit, and retain associates while creating schedules based on business needs.
• Drive store sales, profitability, customer service, and patient experience.
• Partner with the Doctor to support high-quality patient care.
• Conduct audits and maintain quality, merchandising, safety, facility, and service standards.
• Manage budgets, supplies, reporting, marketing initiatives, and promotional execution.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with store operations, business performance, customer service, and sales.
• Knowledge of the optical industry and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience are preferred.
• Some locations may require specific licenses or credentials under state law.
