Director, Finance (Infrastructure)

Location: Toronto, Ontario — hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street

Salary: CAD 160,000–175,000 per year

What you will do

• Review quarterly investor reporting, financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS, partners’ capital statements, commitment schedules, and investment valuations.
• Present quarterly results to senior management and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and service providers.
• Review accounting packages for legal entities, tax financials, audit requests, and control documentation.
• Manage and review investor capital calls and distributions, while supporting liquidity management, forecasting, investor queries, and compliance.
• Analyze complex accounting issues, fund structures, consolidation requirements, and the structuring of new acquisitions.
• Improve reporting processes, oversee special projects, and coach team members.

Requirements

• University degree and a professional accounting designation such as CPA or CA.
• At least seven years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Leadership ability, initiative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong organization and deadline-management abilities.
• Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to professional development.

Nice to have

• Experience with private funds, investment management, and complex ownership structures.
• Experience with Mercatus, Workiva, or Anaplan.
