Finance Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: FMD Handling Canada, 597 The Queensway, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 95,000–138,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead monthly close activities, including financial statement preparation, general ledger oversight, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Report accurate financial and operational performance information to site leadership.
• Lead P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting and improve forecasting methodologies.
• Analyze revenues, expenses, and business drivers to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Strengthen controls, financial transparency, operating efficiency, and integration efforts.
• Facilitate statutory and financial audits and support special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• At least five years of experience in financial or accounting management.
• Experience partnering within a matrix environment.
• Proficiency with ERP software; Infor Visual LN experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and a financial consolidation system such as Hyperion.
