Finance Lead (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Location: On-site in the Toronto, Ontario area, with travel up to 50% as required. Canadian citizenship is required for this client engagement and travel to the U.S. under a TN visa.

Salary: CAD 130,000–160,000 annually. Total estimated compensation, including incentive compensation, is CAD 149,500–200,000.

What you will do

• Lead client reviews of financial close, cost accounting, treasury, and financial reporting processes.
• Own finance-workstream requirements and translate business needs into solution designs for architecture and technical teams.
• Facilitate design workshops with finance executives, process owners, and subject matter experts.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing leads to align operational transactions with financial results and reporting.
• Direct the use of Copilot and Dynamics 365 AI-enabled forecasting, automation, requirements capture, test scripting, and user enablement.
• Guide configuration validation, testing, training, deployment, client relationships, and consultant mentorship.

Requirements

• Canadian citizenship is required.
• Ability to work on-site in the Toronto, Ontario area and travel as required.
• Deep corporate finance and accounting expertise covering financial close, cost accounting, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Experience leading finance process design and requirements definition for ERP, cloud ERP, EPM, or CRM implementations.
• Experience with manufacturing environments and the impact of supply chain and production activity on financial results.
• Strong facilitation, communication, relationship-building, and client-stakeholder management skills.
• At least 5–7 years of related consulting experience with cloud implementations, plus a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on functional experience with Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Automotive experience, including OEM or Tier 1/2 supplier environments.
• Experience with AI-driven forecasting, predictive analytics, or intelligent finance automation.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification, such as MB-310.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting designation.
• Systems integrator or professional services consulting experience.
