AMHS Equipment Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; work inside a clean room and rotate across shifts as needed.

Salary: $60,450–$99,770 annual target compensation for the US; hourly role.

What you will do

• Monitor AMHS operations and respond proactively to system issues to maintain continuous manufacturing flow.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, setup, and calibration on AMHS equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Document system problems and errors accurately in designated databases.
• Coordinate escalations with manufacturing service desks, equipment engineering teams, hardware engineers, and product owners.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment using blueprints, layout plans, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Support AMHS installation and modification projects, train or certify team members, and progress through L3 and advanced equipment certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus relevant technical, military, equipment maintenance, or semiconductor equipment experience; alternatively, an applicable associate’s or bachelor’s degree with relevant equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience requirements range from 2+ to 6+ years depending on education and prior experience combination.
• Ability to lift 25-pound parts, climb ladders, and work more than 90% of the time on the clean-room floor while walking or standing for extended periods.
• Preferred experience includes AMHS software, electromechanical systems, robotic drives, actuators, microcontrollers, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, measuring devices, and command-center operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Design of Experiments, confined spaces, working at heights, raised platforms, and mobile elevated work platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in semiconductor manufacturing technology or a related STEM discipline.
