Manager, Student Engagement

Salary: $7,727.33–$11,112.00 CAD monthly

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of interconnected student engagement programs covering transition, first-year experience, community and connection, and peer leadership.
• Develop strategic and operational plans aligned with institutional priorities and student success goals.
• Build partnerships and coordinated approaches across faculties, departments, Enrolment Services, student organizations, and campus communities.
• Lead professional staff, student staff, volunteers, and distributed student leadership structures through recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage program budgets, resource allocation, risk, reporting, and compliance with university policies.
• Analyze student feedback, institutional data, assessment findings, and emerging research to guide decisions and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and four to five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading programs, partnerships, staff, budgets, and strategic initiatives with substantial independent judgment.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, resolve complex issues, build consensus, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and respect for diverse perspectives.
• Ability to work at the hirify.global Vancouver Campus in Vancouver, Canada.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience managing large-scale programs in a university or public-sector environment.
• Knowledge of student development theory, transition and retention practices, and student success research.
• Experience in change management, budget planning, risk management, and long-term program strategy.
• Familiarity with hirify.global's academic and administrative structures.
