Software Engineer - Frontend - Studio (Core) (React)

Location: London, UK; minimum three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of complex user-facing features and shared foundations for hirify.global Studio.
• Build front-end services using system-design principles while balancing scale, performance, and maintainability.
• Set engineering standards for architecture, testing, tooling, and code quality.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Partner with product, design, and back-end leads to define roadmaps and technical plans.
• Own reliability, observability, operational excellence, and high-SLA performance for assigned domains.

Requirements

• At least six years of professional experience building scalable web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Experience solving complex business problems and handling large volumes of data.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience prioritizing end-user experience through API design, functionality, and performance.
• Experience mentoring engineers, defining engineering standards, and leading system-design approaches.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and product-quality standards.

Nice to have

• Front-end architecture experience with large-scale or data-intensive applications.
• Experience with Nx or Turborepo, monorepos, and Module Federation.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or trading platforms.
