UI Engineer (Angular/AI)

Location: United Kingdom, London; hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote each week

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and maintain Angular-based frontend applications for the Proactive AI Agent product.
• Develop polished frontend features, reusable components, and complex UI logic using modern engineering practices.
• Use AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and automate routine tasks.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders to deliver customer value and extensible web application architecture.
• Deliver secure, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in thoughtful code reviews.
• Document technical decisions and share responsible AI-assisted development practices with the wider team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong frontend specialization.
• 4+ years of production experience with Angular and experience with Angular 16+ features such as standalone components, new control flow, and signals.
• Practical experience building and maintaining React components in production codebases alongside Angular.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Jasmine and Karma or Jest, version control, CI/CD pipelines, scalable application development, security, and software quality fundamentals.
• Active use of AI development tools, with the ability to validate, correct, and explain AI-generated solutions.

• Playwright, Storybook, frontend hosting models, or Agile Scrum experience.
• Experience with data security standards such as ISO27001, SOC2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
