People Strategic Programs Manager (AI)

Salary: $188,000–$235,000 annual total cash compensation for San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle; $163,000–$204,000 for other US locations

What you will do

• Own the People team’s operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, all-hands, quarterly OKR planning, annual strategy planning, offsites, and headcount forecasting.
• Design repeatable planning processes that reduce ad hoc coordination and minimize the SVP of People’s operational involvement.
• Lead multi-quarter programs including M&A integration, UK equity and visa sponsorship infrastructure, the Ashby ATS transition, HRIS evaluation, and other strategic projects.
• Audit People workflows and identify high-impact opportunities for AI and automation.
• Partner with IT and Legal to establish practical AI and Claude usage guardrails and implement scalable People solutions.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the SVP of People, leading execution and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

Requirements

• 7+ years of varied experience across G&A functions such as HR, People Operations, HR technology, BizOps, special projects, or Chief of Staff roles.
• Experience designing and executing multi-quarter initiatives end to end, including requirements gathering, implementation, change management, and impact measurement.
• Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder alignment skills, with experience leading without direct authority.
• Experience evaluating and implementing technology and managing vendors, with exposure to ATS, HRIS, or other People technology.
• Understanding of People data, reporting, workflows, AI, and automation; program and project management skills are more important than deep HR specialization.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically in an ambiguous, fast-moving, high-growth environment.

• Experience with M&A integration playbooks, UK employment infrastructure, equity, or visa sponsorship processes.
• Experience building scalable systems, processes, and AI-enabled solutions for People teams.
