Manager, People Solutions (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; office-first model with at least four days per week onsite

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Manage the execution, coordination, and optimization of Central People Operations.
• Establish and maintain operational procedures, SOPs, delivery schedules, and audit frameworks.
• Oversee HRIS data accuracy across employee lifecycle changes and resolve complex transactional escalations.
• Lead automation and AI initiatives, including LLM-assisted intake and automated triage routing.
• Partner with Payroll, HR, Legal, Risk, and Field Leadership on operational handoffs and corrective actions.
• Manage, coach, and develop People Solutions Coordinators while monitoring workload, SLAs, reporting, and project delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or Shared Services.
• Direct experience supervising or managing a team.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, or ADP.
• Experience improving workflows and integrating automation or AI tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, influence, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading medium-to-large operational projects and resolving non-routine HR issues.
