Instrumentation Technician - Nights (Biotech)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States; onsite at hirify.global's Rhode Island site. The role follows a rotating 12-hour C Shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, with Monday–Friday administrative hours during the 2–6 week onboarding and training period.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled calibration, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on site equipment and systems.
• Maintain safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of maintenance activities in accordance with procedures and cGMPs.
• Communicate completed work and observed issues to system operators and key stakeholders.
• Complete work-order documentation accurately and completely.
• Identify waste, workflow interruptions, and improvement opportunities, and support implementation of solutions.
• Provide maintenance support outside normal hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of maintenance or military experience, or an associate degree.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work constructively with peers and teams.
• Strong computer skills and ability to provide technical guidance to others.
• Availability for a rotating 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, including occasional weekends and holidays.
