Metrology Tech I (Cell Therapy)

Salary: $83,711–$109,870 USD per year, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity where eligible

What you will do

• Support calibration and instrumentation programs for cGMP clinical and commercial CAR-T manufacturing.
• Plan and execute daily calibration activities, shutdown calibrations, work orders, and third-party vendor activities.
• Develop calibration data sheets, metrology job plans, master plans, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation issues, perform root-cause analysis, and define corrective actions.
• Support startup, commissioning, qualification, validation, and on-the-floor troubleshooting of instrumentation and systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, HSE, Facilities, Engineering, Validation, QC, Supply Chain, and contractors to maintain safety, quality, compliance, and production performance.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biological science, biochemical science, bioengineering, or a related field, or relevant trade/technical certification.
• At least 4 years of cGMP cleanroom manufacturing experience under aseptic conditions.
• Hands-on knowledge of metrology, calibration, instrumentation, PLC automation, VFDs, electrical practices, CMMS, cGMP, EHS, and regulatory standards including EPA, OSHA, and DEA.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, project management, change management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities, lead through influence, and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
