Metrology Technician (Pharmaceutical Equipment)

What you will do

• Complete instrument and equipment failure investigations, assess impact, and define corrective actions.
• Coordinate vendor calibrations, repairs, on-site services, shipments, and service documentation.
• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, calibrate, and qualify advanced pharmaceutical laboratory equipment.
• Execute testing for change controls and validation protocols and prepare related documentation.
• Review calibration and qualification procedures and investigate new laboratory technologies.
• Schedule and document equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification activities while following safe working practices.

Requirements

• At least one year of laboratory instrumentation experience.
• Experience with tools, diagnostic equipment, electronic hardware, and PCs.
• Bachelor's degree in a physical science is preferred; coursework in instrumental analysis is helpful.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow company policies.
