Maintenance Technician I - Technical Support

Location: Clayton, North Carolina, United States; on-site work at an aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Improve the performance, reliability, and uptime of process equipment.
• Restore equipment function through technically correct troubleshooting and repairs.
• Plan and perform corrective and preventive maintenance for assigned processes.
• Lead event response activities and monitor equipment performance and trends.
• Support reliability improvement projects and coordinate planned and corrective maintenance.
• Record and review maintenance data in BPRs and related forms, and oversee SAP work orders.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field, equivalent military training, or industrial training covering mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• At least three years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work on-site for shifts of up to 12 hours and perform physically demanding maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 33 pounds, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
• Ability to work around hazardous materials, confined spaces, loud noise, cold environments, and outdoor conditions while following safety requirements.
• Ability to pass a powered industrial truck driving examination; a standard driver's license is not required.
• Knowledge of compressed air, electromechanical controls, electrical and mechanical systems, instrumentation, robotics, SAP, schematics, and wiring diagrams is preferred.
