Metrology Technician (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled calibrations and minor adjustments on instruments used in production, utilities, and laboratories.
• Document calibration results with certified standards and software in accordance with GMP and GDP principles.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and support deviation investigations.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and supervise contracted calibration services.
• Update SOPs and maintenance plans while following safety and environmental protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of calibration or maintenance experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or GMP environment.
• Basic understanding of calibration principles and traceability requirements.
• Ability to use tools and test equipment and troubleshoot under supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environments with PPE, occasional weekend or after-hours support, lifting up to 25 lbs., elevated platforms, and confined spaces.
