Senior Medical Science Liaison (Obesity)

Location: Field-based territory covering California, Arizona, and Hawaii, United States

What you will do

• Serve as a primary scientific and clinical resource for opinion leaders, healthcare providers, population health decision makers, and clinical investigators.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange on obesity and related conditions in accordance with medical and compliance standards.
• Support hirify.global-sponsored research, non-sponsored clinical research, investigators, study sites, and clinical pipeline activities.
• Communicate clinical, outcomes, economic, and field-observation insights to internal stakeholders.
• Lead or support congress activities, speaker training, project teams, and coordinated field engagement.
• Maintain scientific expertise, complete required training and administrative responsibilities, and mentor other MSLs.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or master's degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience, or bachelor's degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
• Strong scientific communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in the designated California, Arizona, and Hawaii field territory.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• Seven or more years in a medically related field, including clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
• At least two years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Cardiometabolic or obesity expertise and experience with the designated territory.
