Focus on developing expert engagement plans, identifying research and educational gaps, presenting clinical data, and gathering medical and competitive insights.

Location: Field-based in northern California, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska; residency in the assigned territory is required. The role involves regular field activities and attendance at medical conferences.

Salary: $176,100–$287,300 annually.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain peer relationships with oncology key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, researchers, pharmacists, and population-based decision makers.
  • Serve as a clinical and scientific resource on disease states and products, providing compliant scientific and clinical information.
  • Identify relevant medical experts and investigators and develop engagement plans.
  • Support company-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies, identify research gaps, and inform medical strategy.
  • Present scientific and clinical data, respond to information requests, and provide disease-management and therapeutic-area education.
  • Attend medical conferences and collect medical, scientific, clinical, and competitive insights for internal partners.

Requirements

  • Terminal scientific degree required: MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or DVM.
  • 8+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in an Oncology Medical Science Liaison function.
  • Required knowledge or experience in oncology; thoracic malignancy experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA and pharmaceutical regulations, compliant practices, and OIG guidelines.
  • Must reside in the assigned territory and hold and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice to have

  • Established relationships with key opinion leaders in thoracic malignancies.
  • Knowledge of institutions focused on solid tumor malignancies.
  • Drug launch experience.
