Associate Director Field Medical Affairs (Gastroenterology)

Location: Field-based role requiring residency within the territory of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, or New Mexico; frequent business travel of approximately 40–50%, including air travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekends.

Salary: $176,100–$287,300 annually.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, payers, medical specialists, and other decision-makers.
• Communicate accurate clinical and scientific information about in-line and pipeline products.
• Build relationships with external scientific and medical specialists across the assigned region.
• Shape and implement local medical strategy in alignment with Global Medical Affairs direction and timelines.
• Support clinical research sites and investigators.
• Deliver clinical and health economic information that promotes the appropriate use of products.

Requirements

• Doctorate-level clinical or scientific degree, such as MD, PharmD, or PhD.
• At least 5 years of related experience in clinical practice, managed care, or industry.
• Experience as a Medical Science Liaison within Immunology; gastroenterology experience is preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate and disseminate scientific and clinical data.
• Residency within the assigned field territory is required.
• Ability to travel frequently, approximately 40–50% of the time.
