Staff Supply Network & Capacity Planning Specialist, Advanced Therapies

Location: Troy, New York, United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The role is generally expected to be performed onsite.

Salary: $92,200–$176,000 annually.

What you will do

• Translate global demand requirements into site production and multi-asset allocation plans, developing scenarios and escalating conflicts.
• Build capacity models, forecast future needs, manage product and asset lifecycles, and identify long-term business risks.
• Coordinate supply plans and timelines across CMC Program Management, Regulatory Sciences, Operations, Finance, and Supply Planning.
• Use global production data to anticipate issues, minimize supply disruption, and drive practical solutions.
• Lead production-impacting change management, including implementation-window planning to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
• Present reports, serve as a subject matter expert, and mentor specialists supporting global production allocations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience for the Staff Specialist level; 8+ years for the Principal Specialist level.
• Experience relevant to supply chain management or biotech manufacturing is beneficial.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or life sciences.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.
