Director, Land Development

Location: Murray, UT, with travel between job sites in the market

Salary: $118,513–$162,955 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead residential lot development through due diligence, design, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, construction, and turnover.
• Establish and maintain development schedules, budgets, cash-flow projections, and budget reconciliations.
• Select and manage trade partners, subcontractors, vendors, contracts, bids, change orders, invoices, and bonds.
• Support land acquisition by preparing development budgets, identifying site risks, and assisting with municipal approvals.
• Travel between job sites to inspect progress, resolve issues, and validate completed work.
• Secure final tract and plat acceptance, bond releases, and compliance with municipal and agency requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, economics, commerce, or construction management is preferred.
• At least five years of land development design and/or land development experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience managing direct reports.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
• OSHA 30 certification and working knowledge of air quality regulations and Storm Water Management (SWPPP) protocols.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, planning, organizational, computer, and quantity take-off software skills.
