Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Location: Loveland, Colorado, USA

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve client water and wastewater engineering challenges.
• Develop project designs, plans, engineering reports, technical specifications, and contract deliverables.
• Track project progress against scopes and schedules and communicate issues to project managers.
• Prepare technical communications and participate in client and team meetings.
• Present design projects to clients and the public when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience with water and wastewater facilities, including pumping systems, treatment, collection, distribution, and water-resources facilities.
• Engineer-In-Training certification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to operate a company or personal vehicle for business travel during work hours.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license in Colorado or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience producing design plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, GIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
