Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern

Location: Normandale campus, United States, spanning Edina and Bloomington; on-site role

What you will do

• Research PFAS substances used at hirify.global and assess current and future regulatory implications.
• Identify vendor chemicals, components, and manufacturers that may contain affected PFAS substances.
• Investigate PFAS usage and evaluate potential alternatives.
• Support environmental programs including chemical management, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, and air emissions.
• Work independently and with technical professionals at sites in the United States and Northern Ireland.
• Apply engineering, analytical, and communication skills to EHS projects and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Coursework in environmental engineering, chemistry, an EHS program, or a related field.
• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in EHS, environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
• Returning to school in Fall 2027.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan, take ownership, identify process inefficiencies, collaborate, and respond to feedback.
