Process Engineer Intern (Life Sciences)

Location: Denver, Colorado, USA, or relocation/work in one of hirify.global’s internship locations: Kansas City, Raleigh, Orange County, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Boston, San Diego, Kalamazoo, Denver, or Rockville.

Compensation: USD 17–28.80 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and implement project deliverables under the guidance of a Process Engineer mentor.
• Support pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, and industrial projects, including renovations, retrofits, and new construction.
• Contribute to the design and engineering of manufacturing facilities, equipment, infrastructure, and critical utility systems.
• Document process design scope and coordinate work with other engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, contractors, internal teams, and industry leaders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or Biochemical Engineering.
• Available to work full-time from May through August 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Strong interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries and willingness to learn about the AEC industry.
• Willingness to relocate or work in one of the listed hirify.global internship locations.

Nice to have

• Progress toward registration for or completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, or Assemble.
• Experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing, industry regulations, or AEC standards.
• Prior Process Engineering internship or co-op experience.
