Senior Engineer I - Quality (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; 100% inside during normal business hours

What you will do

• Perform internal audits across worldwide locations against ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 21434, IEC 62443, and related standards.
• Support third-party QMS certifications, audits, and certification activities for design and manufacturing locations.
• Integrate acquired companies into the corporate QMS and manage related certification activities.
• Resolve customer quality issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions with Engineering, Failure Analysis, Sales, and Manufacturing.
• Improve manufacturing and new product release processes, including process mapping, feasibility reviews, and customer technical requirements.
• Support quality applications and tool development, including machine learning capabilities and product cybersecurity certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience, preferably in electrical/electronic or semiconductor industries.
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts and tools, including SPC, DOE, regression analysis, MSA, Minitab, or JMP.
• Basic programming and data analytics skills using Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects and work with domestic and global teams; flexibility for 0–25% travel.
