Head of Americas Talent Acquisition

Salary: $181,200–$339,750 per year, plus bonus eligibility, stock, and benefits

What you will do

• Own the Americas talent acquisition strategy and translate business goals and headcount plans into hiring roadmaps.
• Lead, coach, and develop Lead, Senior, and TA Partners across the region.
• Advise executives and hiring leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, compensation trends, and specialized talent markets.
• Drive volume, niche scientific and technical, and executive hiring while improving recruiting processes and candidate experience.
• Manage TA metrics, analytics, recruiting technology, vendors, agencies, and budgets.
• Build pipelines for scientific and engineering talent through universities, early-career programs, industry associations, and scientific communities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, including 4+ years leading and scaling recruiting teams.
• Experience hiring across life sciences, diagnostics, biotech, MedTech, scientific instrumentation, or technology sectors.
• Experience recruiting scientists, engineers, and technical field or service professionals.
• Experience partnering with C-level and VP stakeholders on workforce planning and organizational design in a global, matrixed organization.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, employer branding, structured interviewing, recruiting tools, analytics, and hiring compliance.
• Working knowledge of US employment and hiring compliance; familiarity with Canadian and Latin American hiring practices is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience hiring for Technology, Product, and AI talent pillars.
• Experience scaling hiring in Mexico, Brazil, Canada, or other Americas markets outside the US.
• Experience with TA Advisor models and implementing or migrating an ATS.
