Vice President, AI Talent Acquisition

Location: Fremont, California, US; onsite three days per week. Travel as needed.

Salary: $240,000–$270,000 base pay annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and evolve global talent acquisition strategy, standards, governance, operating models, and regional decision rights.
• Lead end-to-end Director-level and executive hiring in partnership with senior leaders and HR.
• Build talent pipelines and sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies for AI/ML, data, MLOps, data engineering, AI product, and software engineering roles.
• Own global recruiting KPIs, reporting, dashboards, executive reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Set the global ATS, data, automation, and responsible AI-enabled recruiting strategy while driving adoption and data integrity.
• Govern recruiting programs, onboarding frameworks, external partners, employer brand initiatives, and hiring-manager enablement.

Requirements

• 13+ years of progressive talent acquisition leadership experience with global or multi-region scope.
• Experience leading senior and executive hiring for scarce technical talent, including AI/ML, data, and software engineering.
• Strong understanding of AI labor markets, compensation dynamics, and candidate motivations.
• Experience building governance, operating models, scalable recruiting processes, ATS strategies, data standards, and change-management programs.
• Strong analytics, executive communication, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Fremont, California three days per week.
