Customer Service Representative (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Receive, process, track, and schedule customer orders through completion.
• Respond to inquiries about product availability, pricing, freight rates, allocations, delivery dates, quotations, samples, and order status.
• Coordinate with sales, design, production, shipping, and other internal departments to meet customer requirements and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Resolve customer complaints, order changes, and billing adjustment requests, escalating issues when needed.
• Maintain customer files, reconcile inventory with customer orders and forecasts, and complete month-end physical inventory.
• Communicate account and order updates to internal stakeholders while supporting on-time delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of customer service experience handling customer orders through an order entry system.
• Experience building and maintaining positive customer business relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, active listening, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, handle multiple requests, and work flexible hours or overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or college business coursework.
• Experience with automated order entry systems.
• Experience in manufacturing, containerboard, or corrugated packaging.
• Previous experience working in a team environment.
