Customer Service Administrator II (Aerospace): Supporting customer orders, quotes, warranty returns, shipment status, and account coordination for aerospace manufacturing customers with an accent on purchase-order compliance, ERP data accuracy, export regulations, and customer delivery performance. Focus on interpreting complex contractual requirements, resolving payment and delivery issues, administering customer portals, and coordinating cross-functional responses to customer requests.

Location: On-site in Burbank, California, United States. Domestic and international travel may be required up to 10%.

Salary: $76,525–$99,770 USD annual.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets, including landing, cabin, brake control, and actuation systems.

What you will do

  • Review, negotiate, administer, and flow down customer purchase-order requirements, including quality, contractual, export, and government procurement requirements.
  • Interpret orders in the ERP system, provide order acknowledgements, manage forecasts, and support pricing and delivery information for customer quotes.
  • Coordinate customer inquiries, shipment status, warranty returns, customer portals, debit and credit administration, and corrective-action responses.
  • Support accounts receivable by addressing past-due payments and researching invoices, payments, and debits.
  • Validate customer scorecards and collaborate with internal operations to improve on-time delivery and resolve customer disputes.
  • Partner with sales, account management, operations, and other internal functions on customer requirements, expedited orders, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of applicable customer service experience.
  • High school diploma; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of customer portals, Export Administration Regulations, Incoterms, and ITAR compliance; basic knowledge of FAR/DFAR and government procurement requirements.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and strong organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, communicate clearly with customers, and support face-to-face meetings.
  • Only US Persons will be considered where access to controlled data or information is required.

Nice to have

  • Oracle experience.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
