Senior Manager, Content Strategy & Analysis

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States; hybrid schedule with office work generally Monday through Thursday and flexible remote work on Fridays

Annual base salary for California: $185,200–$265,300

What you will do

• Build content strategy roadmaps across licensed and original content, including FAST, live, and VOD programming in the US, Canada, and UK.
• Combine financial, platform, and audience data to evaluate content performance, efficiency, and portfolio mix.
• Lead title, package, and portfolio valuation for licensing, sports, and originals, including deal assumptions, lifetime value, and unit economics.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Recommendations, Search, Merchandising, Marketing, Ads, Finance, Analytics, and Data Science teams.
• Develop executive-ready analyses, dashboards, playbooks, KPIs, and recommendations for investment and roadmap decisions.
• Manage, develop, and mentor a team of analysts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in streaming, content strategy, content valuation, analytics, or adjacent strategy functions.
• Experience with content strategy or insights functions and operating cadences.
• Fluency in rev-share, flat-fee licensing, commissioning, audience, advertising, and P&L relationships.
• Strong quantitative skills, including Excel or BI, title and package ultimates, cohort analysis, and churn analysis.
• Experience with BI reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or AirTable.
• Experience supporting recommendation goals, search coverage, merchandising systems, and leading or mentoring analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience using Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, or other frontier AI models in workplace functions.
• Experience partnering with Data Science on advanced analytical methods.
