Sr. DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Mountain View, California; hybrid. No travel expected.

Salary: USD $176,362–$293,937 per year, with potential eligibility for a corporate bonus program.

What you will do

• Advance the reliability, scalability, and automation of Horizon Cloud’s global infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD GitOps workflows.
• Implement observability and logging with Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Manage Azure infrastructure with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in production and develop resilient, self-healing systems.
• Automate operations with Python and contribute to infrastructure security, audit logging, WAF, firewalls, and compliance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm, plus familiarity with GitOps workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Azure or another public cloud platform and proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience with observability stacks including Elastic Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Understanding of SRE principles, incident response, distributed systems troubleshooting, and infrastructure security and compliance.
