Technical Success Engineer

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Provide tier 1 technical support and resolve customer requests through the support queue.
• Investigate, reproduce, and document bugs before escalating them to Engineering.
• Coordinate communication between customers and Engineering until fixes or workarounds are delivered.
• Partner with Customer Success on technical customer implementations.
• Maintain public documentation and identify recurring ticket patterns to improve self-service and reduce resolution times.
• Contribute to AI-first workflows, shared tools, prompts, and product feedback for Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in engineering, technical support, or implementation.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language; Ruby on Rails is preferred.
• Ability to write diagnostic scripts, reproduce issues, review logs, and provide clear technical context.
• Strong written communication skills when working with customers and engineers through email or Zoom.
• Ability to multitask, work through ambiguity, and manage competing high-priority issues.
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code, with an interest in improving shared AI workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with REST APIs, SAML, or SSO authentication.
• Experience with Datadog, Sentry, or other logging and observability tools.
• Familiarity with AWS, cloud infrastructure, SQL, or analytics.
