IT Service Manager (AI)

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $130,000–$175,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own IT and business systems operations for a remote workforce, including endpoints, identity, SaaS applications, access provisioning, and renewal tracking.
• Provide hands-on desktop support and manage employee onboarding, offboarding, devices, and accounts.
• Administer the Apple fleet end to end, including MDM policies, operating system upgrades, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Partner with Security on access controls, endpoint policies, audit trails, tooling rollouts, vulnerability remediation, and access reviews.
• Build automation and self-service tools using scripting, Python, Claude Code, and other AI tooling to reduce manual ticket volume.
• Manage IT vendors, SaaS vendor onboarding and offboarding, technology records, and spend.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience independently owning a distributed, remote-first IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, or Hexnode and enterprise Apple hardware and operating systems.
• Experience with identity and access management tools such as Okta and security and compliance controls.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks, including endpoint compliance and access reviews.
• Experience automating IT workflows with Python, scripting, self-service tooling, Claude Code, or other AI tooling.
• Experience managing IT vendors and technology spend, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• ISO 27001 certification or direct experience supporting an ISO audit.
• IT experience in a regulated industry or SaaS company handling sensitive data.
