IT Manager

Location: Fully remote, work from anywhere; hiring across 34+ countries. At least 4 hours of overlap with the UK timezone between 8am and 6pm.

What you will do

• Own and administer Google Workspace, internal IT infrastructure, business systems, software licensing, device procurement, lifecycle management, and MDM.
• Own internal IT security, including SSO, MFA, IAM, access management, security controls, access audits, and risk remediation.
• Lead the compliance programme across GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other relevant standards, including processes, evidence, and audit trails.
• Automate onboarding, offboarding, access management, and provisioning workflows; implement and manage an ITSM/helpdesk solution.
• Own disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and recovery procedures for critical internal systems.
• Manage SaaS, hardware, cloud, and IT vendors, including contracts, budgets, technology evaluation, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, IT operations, or systems administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace and business systems.
• Experience with MDM, SSO, IAM, and identity/access management.
• Strong understanding of internal IT security and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience supporting GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience implementing and automating IT workflows, particularly onboarding and offboarding.
• Experience managing IT vendors, SaaS contracts, and technology budgets.
• Experience working in a remote-first SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a pragmatic and autonomous approach to problem-solving.
