Senior Solutions Engineer (AI/IT Security)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, United States; in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the full business day.

Salary: $175.5K–$214.5K annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and improve corporate IT systems across endpoints, Jamf, networking, identity, SaaS platforms, asset management, and operational processes.
• Resolve complex technical escalations, document root causes, and coordinate with IT, Security Operations, IT Risk, SRE, Engineering, and AI Enablement.
• Automate endpoint provisioning, configuration management, access workflows, and routine IT operations through self-service capabilities.
• Administer macOS-focused endpoint tooling, enterprise wireless, and zero-trust network access.
• Implement secure integrations and operational controls for internal AI tools, including identity-aware access, data handling, logging, and support processes.
• Evaluate LLM-backed tools, retrieval workflows, and agent-style automation while improving infrastructure reliability, security, documentation, and team practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT administration, systems engineering, or a comparable infrastructure role supporting multi-OS environments, with strong macOS experience.
• Experience with endpoint management, Jamf or a comparable MDM platform, enterprise networking, identity or SaaS administration, and IT automation.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting, MDM workflows, infrastructure-as-code, or comparable engineering practices.
• Experience with Okta, Google Workspace, SSO, SCIM, identity-aware access, and cloud-based SaaS or corporate IT systems.
• Experience supporting internal AI tools and familiarity with LLMs, RAG, MCP, or similar connector patterns, including controls for permissions, data handling, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Knowledge of security operations tooling and healthcare compliance frameworks such as SIEM, EDR, CrowdStrike, Netskope, HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2.

Nice to have

• AWS experience.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams and administering Windows or Linux environments, including Ubuntu.
