Area Manager - Maintenance (Fashion, Import, Print Solutions, Regional, Returns, Sam's, Wm.Com)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; onsite at the ECOMM Fulfillment Services facility

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation

What you will do

• Manage daily maintenance department operations for warehouse equipment, material handling equipment, pneumatic and electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, and general building repairs.
• Implement area business plans by managing staffing, scheduling, workload allocation, and facility goals.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, expenses, capital expenditures, and asset utilization through operational and financial reports.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, hazardous waste, NFPA, stormwater, DOT, and other state and federal requirements.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates, managers, and supervisors; participate in hiring and promotion decisions.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns and coordinate corrective actions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or technical school certification in an industrial-related field and one year of related maintenance supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accepted alternatives include a bachelor's degree in business, industrial, logistics, or a related field; hirify.global Logistics maintenance experience; or supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Relevant experience must include supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors, managing workloads, and participating in hiring and promotion.
• Required job training and assessments must be completed successfully.
• Work is based at the Atlanta, Georgia fulfillment facility.

Nice to have

• Compliance, general maintenance, Microsoft Office, supermarket refrigeration equipment, associate supervision, or warehouse management systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business or logistics.
