Area Manager - Floor (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, HMSC)

Location: Onsite at 3100 IL Highway 89, Spring Valley, Illinois, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement operational plans by communicating goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor area productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards through training, compliance monitoring, and documentation management.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns through consultation and corrective action.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders, including supporting hiring and promotion decisions.
• Promote respectful, collaborative, data-driven, customer-focused, and continuously improving operations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and one year of supervisory experience, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Alternatively, one year of Walmart Logistics Management experience, two years of Walmart Logistics experience, or two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work onsite at the Spring Valley, Illinois facility.
• Experience supervising associates, managing workloads, and maintaining safety and policy compliance.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
