Hardware Senior Mechanical Engineer (Fitness Hardware)

Location: Woodinville, Washington, at the Woodinville headquarters; hybrid work

Base salary: $139,800–$171,750 USD annually, plus equity awards, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and region-specific benefits.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver next-generation fitness hardware and complex electro-mechanical modules.
• Design components, perform engineering and finite element analyses, and lead architecture reviews.
• Coordinate in-house prototype builds, create test plans, oversee physical testing, and analyze validation data.
• Lead cross-functional work with Industrial Design, Product Management, Electrical Engineering, and Operations.
• Coach junior engineers and use data-driven insights to support project decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience with statics, dynamics, stress analysis, finite element analysis, and materials science.
• Proficiency with 3D MCAD, preferably SolidWorks.
• Hands-on knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal, casting, machining, and metrology.
• Experience with PLM and ECN processes, rapid prototyping, technical reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or Technical Lead experience in startup or agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with welding, 3D printing, or machining.
• Experience with thermal, kinematics, or noise and vibration analysis.
• Expertise in fitness equipment, high-volume consumer electronics, power transmission systems, or overseas development and manufacturing partnerships in Asia.
