Salary: $159,488.05–$215,777.95 annually

What you will do

  • Lead assigned cardiovascular key accounts and develop account plans aligned with business strategy and institutional needs.
  • Assess account environments, identify access and implementation barriers, and lead initiatives supporting sustainable utilization across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
  • Build relationships with cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, P&T, quality, finance, and other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Coordinate pull-through and access initiatives with sales representatives, district and regional leaders, medical science liaisons, reimbursement specialists, and other matrix partners.
  • Present approved data and messages in compliance with governing policies and coordinate approved customer programs and hospital initiatives.
  • Monitor business performance and market dynamics while providing insights to business analytics, brand, and market access teams.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales or related account management experience, or master’s degree and 4 years, or bachelor’s degree and 6 years.
  • Experience in account management, healthcare sales, public payors, or related buying and decision-making processes.
  • Knowledge of cardiology, dyslipidemia, heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, hospital committee structures, P&T processes, reimbursement, Medicare, government agencies, payor systems, and CMS policies.
  • Ability to analyze clinical and financial data, identify decision-makers, influence stakeholders, negotiate, present, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree such as MPH, MBA, or PharmD.
  • Three or more years of account management or public payor experience.
  • District management experience and experience with community cardiology practices.
