What you will do

  • Lead strategic account planning and execution for assigned cardiovascular health-system accounts.
  • Assess institutional needs, business performance, access barriers, and market dynamics to develop account strategies.
  • Build relationships with cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, P&T, finance, quality, and other health-system decision-makers.
  • Drive compliant product availability, utilization, access, and implementation across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
  • Coordinate initiatives with sales representatives, district and regional leaders, medical science liaisons, reimbursement specialists, and home-office teams.
  • Provide field intelligence and recommendations to business analytics, brand, and market access teams.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales or related account management experience; or master’s degree and 4 years; or bachelor’s degree and 6 years.
  • Experience in account management, healthcare sales, public payors, or related buying and decision-making processes.
  • Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, treatment and discharge protocols, reimbursement, payor systems, and CMS policies.
  • Cardiology experience, including dyslipidemia, heart failure, or acute coronary syndromes, is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, negotiation, presentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support the Seattle, Washington role and territory covering Portland, Oregon.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree such as MPH, MBA, or PharmD.
  • Seven or more years of healthcare sales or marketing experience.
  • District management experience and knowledge of community cardiology trends.
