Laboratory Technician - Environment Testing - 1st Shift (Environment Testing)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite laboratory work

Salary: $17.75/hour

What you will do

• Follow SOPs, written instructions, and approved scientific methodologies.
• Clean laboratory areas, wash and inventory glassware, and maintain specialized equipment.
• Support sample preparation, extractions, reagent and spike preparation, and chemical waste disposal.
• Enter data accurately into LIMS and maintain training documentation.
• Complete scheduled QC samples and support laboratory operations as assigned.
• Perform duties in accordance with health, safety, quality assurance, and attendance standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with chemicals, laboratory glassware, and specialized equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Nice to have

• Previous laboratory experience.
• Experience communicating findings and coordinating tasks with colleagues.
