Associate Chemist (HRMS Environment Testing)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, 2nd shift Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. Training is Monday–Friday on 1st shift.

Salary: $18–$20 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze samples from various matrices for routine analytical methods.
• Prepare samples and quality-control materials, standards, and reagents.
• Review, process, and assemble supporting analytical data.
• Follow EPA, client, company, and internal QC procedures and SOPs.
• Perform basic maintenance on routine laboratory equipment.
• Dispose of chemical waste using approved methods and work safely, including overtime when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow instructions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
• Prior laboratory experience.
