Associate Chemistry - Environment Testing - Wet Chemistry - 3rd Shift, M-F (Wet Chemistry)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. Onsite 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; training is Monday–Friday on the 1st shift. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.

Compensation: USD 18–20.90 per hour; the posting also states $18–19 per hour plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples using approved wet chemistry methods, standard techniques, SOPs, and quality procedures.
• Perform chemical analysis, evaluate and quantify data, and report results or unusual test occurrences.
• Complete scheduled QC samples, maintain training records and instrument documentation, and document quality issues when required.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance, sample purging, glassware washing, supply inventory, and laboratory housekeeping.
• Manage assigned workload using backlog reports and assist in other laboratory areas as needed.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Chemistry or a related field, an associate degree, or two years of related laboratory experience in lieu of a degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work overnight, stand for extended periods, and handle organic solvents, laboratory glassware, and specialized equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, critical-thinking, mathematical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous wet chemistry, laboratory, or production experience is preferred.
