TL;DR
Senior Project Manager (Real Estate): Leading large-scale capital improvement and asset enhancement projects across a multifamily housing portfolio with an accent on renovations, vendor management, budgeting, and design coordination. Location: Orlando, FL, USA; in-office 5 days a week. The role includes approximately 50% travel to properties within the portfolio. The east regional office is located in Bethesda, MD.

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 yearly, plus annual bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead large-scale capital improvement, renovation, and asset enhancement projects from concept through completion.
  • Manage project scoping, design development, budgeting, bidding, contracting, scheduling, implementation, and closeout.
  • Oversee hallway renovations, leasing office transformations, common areas, operational spaces, package locker relocations, and amenity improvements.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, architects, designers, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor site progress, quality, safety, budgets, schedules, risks, and operational disruptions through frequent property visits.
  • Provide weekly and monthly project reporting and executive-level updates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in capital improvements, construction, renovations, asset enhancement, hospitality, multifamily, commercial real estate, or a related field.
  • Experience managing large-scale renovation projects with budgets exceeding $100,000.
  • Strong vendor management experience, including contractor selection, contract administration, negotiations, and performance oversight.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects, budgets, schedules, procurement, and reporting activities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, design judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work in the office five days per week and travel approximately 50%.

Nice to have

  • Experience collaborating with architects, designers, consultants, and construction partners.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and reporting tools.
